LABOR EQUALITY AND NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Objective

To formalize our commitment to be the best employment option for all people, by offering real opportunities for development and recognition in a safe, equitable, inclusive, respectful and equal opportunity work environment in which all our personnel feel valued and inspired to contribute to their maximum potential.

What the policy consists of

To have a culture of respect for human dignity, establishing organizational guidelines and mechanisms for the prevention, attention and eradication of sexual and labor harassment, as well as for the prevention and elimination of all forms of discrimination exercised against any person, in order to promote equal treatment and opportunities of access, permanence and promotion in the employment of all our personnel regardless of the type of contract.

General Guidelines

Commitment to non-discrimination

It is strictly forbidden any form of discrimination, physical, psychological or verbal violence, mistreatment and segregation, as well as harassment and labor and sexual harassment that comes from any member of our organization (either by an authority of the workplace or among the staff) towards any member of the company or the communities in which we work, including but not limited to, for the following reasons:

  • Culture
  • Disability
  • Language
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Social, economic, health or legal condition
  • Pregnancy
  • Marital or conjugal status
  • Religion
  • Opinions
  • Ethnic or national origin
  • Sexual orientation or preference
  • Migratory status

In order to comply with this policy, the Organization is committed to:

  • Respect the human dignity of all people based on the recognition and acceptance of the individual differences of each one.
  • Carry out the necessary actions to promote real equality of treatment and opportunities of access, permanence and labor development for all personnel according to their profile, performance and potential, without making any difference between people who perform work of equal value. If it is necessary to make a valid distinction based on reasonable, proportional and objective criteria whose purpose is not to undermine rights in order to pursue such equality, they will not be considered discriminatory.
  • Promote a work environment of respect and equality, a humanitarian atmosphere of open communication and a workplace free of discrimination, physical, psychological or verbal violence, mistreatment and segregation, harassment and sexual harassment, as well as expressions of sexism, misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia, racism and other forms of intolerance that will be understood as discrimination.
  • Respect and promote the right of people to achieve a balance in their lives; promoting the conciliation between work, family and personal life of those who collaborate in the organization.
  • Establish goals and routes at different levels of the organization to develop and retain a portfolio of talent, aligned with the expectations of the organization of participation of the different groups represented in it.

To achieve the above objectives, RGJR, S.A. DE C.V. is committed to have the necessary procedures and action plans.

Responsible for the implementation of the policy and the objectives

It is the responsibility of the Board of Directors of RGJR, S.A. DE C.V. to appoint a person to chair the Committee for Labor Equality and Non-Discrimination, which must include the participation of personnel. The person in charge of the Committee is responsible for the implementation of this policy.
